Do you blend in or stand out?

Why do we take the urge to blend in so much? Are we afraid to stand out?
It starts early of course. I run across information technology with my cousin and how much she wants to blend in with all the other teenagers. There is barely a hint of color and she is wearing almost exactly the aforementioned equally all the other kids. I recognize that of course. I was not much different when I was young.
Many of us hardly grow out of that phase though. There are actually very few people that stand up out on the streets and that you lot specially observe.
And with standing out, I don't mean that yous have to be super bright, clothing something crazy, have a funny haircut, be incredibly cute or wear a high chapeau. Standing out merely means that for some reason I observe you.

How to stand out and have confidence in your style?
Just there were still people that stand up out on the streets and that I always plow around for, although it is surprising how few times that actually happens. And then what did they do dissimilar?
It could be any of these:
- They highlighted their body strengths to perfection and created a bang-up silhouette.
- They used texture and blueprint to groovy effect.
- They combined neutrals in new and exciting means.
- They wore colour!
- They showed a unique sense of way through the manner they put themselves together.
- They had a great hair color or cutting that exuded style and hip ness. And that includes a dandy grey hair fashion besides!
- They wore their looks with confidence!
Some other neutral look that people volition definitely detect considering of all the pattern mixing.
Why would you want to alloy in so much?
Don't you desire to get noticed, fifty-fifty just a little chip?
Don't you desire to show united states a little flake almost your personality?
Even though we are not all extroverts (I'g very introverted!), why would we want to completely hide away backside the sameness of our wearing apparel?

If we feel secure in our style, we can wearable whatever we feel like on a particular twenty-four hours. If you lot dress mainly to please yourself, it doesn't affair so much what others call back about your manner.
Over the years I have definitely get a lot more than confident about my fashion.
I experience that I apparel more for myself now and non and then much to blend in. However, that doesn't mean I stand out so much either, since my preference is often for neutral colors.
Only I exercise endeavour to requite those neutrals a bit of an edge. To make the way my own and give a clear message about my personality.
- I ofttimes add a pop of colour
- I add an interesting accessory
- I may add an interesting design detail to my clothes, similar disproportion or an unusual cut
- If I wear neutrals then my lips may be a little fleck brighter

Do you accept the confidence to clothing what you want?
How about y'all? Have you developed enough confidence in you lot and your style to wear what yous similar? Or are you too concerned about blending in and the opinion of others?
I admittedly WOULD own a few coats other than blackness if I lived in a colder country. I know myself and my style well enough now to article of clothing something that makes me stand out.
Similar I heard from many women over 40, I feel more daring now and know myself amend. Then information technology's easier to practise something different.
